Top Gun: Maverick is an action drama by Joseph Kosinski released in June 2022.
It is Paramount Pictures’ megahit blockbuster, providing an opportunity to see Tom Cruse’s acting after a long while.
Kosinski showed surprise for unexpected commercial success causing $1.4 billion global gross hitting the top five domestic box office chart for 12 weeks.
However, he did not reveal any aspirations or plans for a sequel other than the desire for an Oscar and Academy.
