WALKING WITH GOD #12 Deuteronomy 17

The instruction of God about offerings is going on in chapter 17. God says you don’t sacrifice blemish ox or sheep because it is an abomination to Him.

As a literal meaning, the BLEMISH (Heb. מוּם) refers to a defect in the body of a man or an animal (Jewish Virtual Library, 2022).

And God warned Israelites not to serve and worship other gods, the sun, the moon, or any of the hosts of heaven. In Ancient Israel and Mesopotamian eras, I found similar evidence about Helios, the Greek sun god, and Sin, the God of the moon (The Picture below).
