WALKING WITH GOD #13 Deuteronomy 20
In ancient Israel, we saw a war many times. The powerful verse “God is with you” encourages me and all believers to overcome any hardship in daily life.
God showed his power when the Israelites delivered from Egypt, dividing the Red Sea with the complete collapse of the Egyptian military.
Interestingly, the situation was always at a disadvantage for the Israelites, and their enemies outnumbered them.
Astonishingly, God said to Israelites, “Don’t be afraid! I will go with you and fight for you against your enemies.” I am confident this promise God proclaimed will empower every believer’s life, and even nonbelievers or atheists might be surprised at this part with the question, “Who is God?

“God showed his power when the Israelites delivered from Egypt, dividing the Red Sea with the complete collapse of the Egyptian military.”
not one shred of evidence for that nonsense. Funny how not one of Egypt’s enemies noticed.

Hi clubschadenfreude! Thank you for your comment! Bible stories can be either true or funny, depending on who hears them.

No, they can’t be true just because some gullible person wants them to be. Truth doesn’t work like that.

Hi, clubschadenfreude! Thank you for your following comment. I understand your stance on Bible and I guess you don’t believe the word of God.
However, I hope your criticism of people who believe the word of God as truth would be more reasonable with evidence in a respectful way.
The Scripture, says “ So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32).
Again, the matter of true or false in this article is believing the word of God or not. So, I think your and my definition of truth could be different.
Sincerely,
Tim
