The most comport word in this chapter is “…He will be your God…” (Deu. 29:12). Nothing matters if God is on your side.

He is the source of power to overcome any hardship. Bible says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (ESV, Isaiah 41:10).

However, terrible calamities and curses caused to wipe out their name from beneath the heavens will come upon those who do the abominations that God hates.
