[Bible Journey] Rosh HaShanah
This week was a Jewish holiday, Rosh HaShanah meaning the head of the year. Interestingly, it also refers to the last day on the flip side.
It is called Yom Teruah in Hebrew, meaning a day of shouting or blasting.
I came up with the scene people blow the shofar, stimulating attention and joining in crowds.
The moment I assumed was like the last day Jesus(Yeshua) comes back upon the earth from Heaven.
Bible says, “The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.” (NIV, Rev. 11:15).
The return of Jesus(Yeshua) is referred at Act 1:11, “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
