God directed Noah to make an Ark before destroying the earth by flood and intended to save Noah’s family and animals.
The ark symbolizes God’s mercy in forgiving the sins of His children like Jesus became our Messiah to deliver us from corruption and played a role as light in the judgment. The light also refers to Jesus, “‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).
With the mercy of God, I could feel His protection when I read the part of Noah’s Ark in Genesis 6, and I am sure God loves us so much because he protects us as He did for Noah. Also, I found His ways of work that have a plan before he acts.
