Shenandoah National Park(SNP) has fresh mountain air and allows camping there. 

   4 Things to know about SNP 

1. Location 

SNP is placed at the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, toward west Washington, D.C and the total length is 105 miles from the northern entrance at Front Royal to the southern entrance near Waynesboro.

2. Opening Hours 

SNP is always open, and you can enter the park by car through Skyline Drive–the main road of SNP or on foot(Skyline could be closed when the weather is bad.

3. Public WiFi 

Public WiFi is available at Dickey Ridge Visitor Center, Some West-facing overlooks, Byrd Visitor Center, Big Meadows Lodge, and Skyland Resort.

4. Passes 

There are three options to enter the SNP–Entrance passes(good for individual visitors and seven consecutive days), Annual passes, and Lifetime passes(for seniors, disabilities, and veterans). The sites for purchasing passes are Recreation.gov and USGS.
