The Road to Success–Overcoming Failure

We will examine the failure in our life and solutions of it through the life of Peter in the Bible.
As the cause of failure, we can find a few factors.
First, overestimated one’s ability. Bible says, “So if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!” (1 Corinthians 10:12).
Second, forgetting the value of failure. Failure gives you pain and grief but it gives you a great lesson so you need to learn from it and not repeat the same mistakes.
Third, hiding the problem worsen its situation. Don’t be a shame to share your problem with your partners and friends who willingly support and love you. Dealing with problems by one’s ability could be risker than asking for help from others.
Then, what are the solutions to overcome failures?
First, don’t be surprised and intimidated by past failures.
Second, keep praying. You can stand up again from the mind, asking God’s help in prayer.
Third, you must rise again. Failure is meaningless if you rise again even though you had several mistakes and failures. Bible says, “For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes” (proverbs 24:16).
