Gist of Immortal by Lex Meyer (vol.27)

Last day
Moses, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and many others spoke about a time when God will gather His people from among the nations (Deut. 30:3,4, Jer. 29:14, Ezek. 36.24). At that time, people neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like angels of God in heaven.
Gospel
The etymology of the English word “gospel” comes from the Old English “Godspell,” meaning “good story” or “good news.” It is a translation of the Greek “Evangelion,” which means a message from a king. Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. The Bible says, “And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty…For if the dead do not rise, the Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” (1 Corinthians 15:14-19).
