Reflection from “Creating a Life That Matters” by Manis Friedman (vol.8)

Do not search God for the sake of receiving a reward. A mature relationship doesn’t need a reward. Rather, divine intent is found between God and people. Why do you exist for? What was His purpose and plan for you at the first moment you were born? We were created as a unique individual, each for a specific reason. The godly purpose is linked to morality and religion rather than scientific concepts. God needs us to eat and sleep to live. Life means service, and we live to serve. Sometimes, you don’t want to do what God wants but He still needs you. The divine desire is opposed to selfish needs. The needs connect to survival regarding existence.
